We are pleased to again kick off our annual healthy living expo, Vivapalooza, with the Viva 5k walk/run! This year we have partnered with the Barnstable Recreation Department for a road race that is good for our community on many levels. 100% of the race proceeds will benefit Barnstable Recreation programs through the Adam Prentice Scholarship Fund.
It’s fun and accessible for the whole family, whether running or walking! Registration fees are $20 for individual / $60 for a family (4+ participants) through April 30th, and $25 for individual / $75 for family (4+ participants) from May 1st through race day. All runners/walkers registered by May 16th will receive a race shirt!
The race begins at 9am, with the start and finish at Barnstable High. A post race awards ceremony for the top finishers in many divisions will immediately follow the race, and then the doors to Vivapalooza open at 10am!
